LEGO Atlantis

LEGO Atlantis is about these dudes trying to find and later, save Atlantis from it's ultimate destruction.

Here's a list of vehicles in the theme.
  • Neptune Carrier - The Neptune Carrier is heavily armed with quad flick missiles and impressive endurance. It also carries all the other vehicles in a docking bay inside it.
  • Seabed Scavenger - The pilot drives it across the ocean floor. The Seabed Scavenger is armed with a deadly spinning buzz saw and a hand that can pick things up and then throw them.
  • Typhoon Turbo Sub - It looks surprisingly like the Neptune Carrier. Only differences are, the Typhoon Turbo Sub is smaller and has visible engines propelling it through the water.
  • Sea Jet - This is probably the smallest set. It is just a little water speeder with a extending arm to pick up small objects.
  • Undersea Explorer - While in "Submarine" mode, it can propel itself through the waters at a swift speed. While in "Giant Robot" mode, it shoot harpoons out of one hand and punch or throw things with the other.
  • Wreck Raider - It is another small vehicle. It can shoot two flick fire missiles (or in the theme's case, torpedoes).

There was a movie based on this theme!!! Here's what happens.
"The movie opens up on the Neptune Carrier with Dr. Jeff Fisher talking to Professor Sam Rhodes about a fish he claims exists but no one has been able to find it. After the crew is gathered (which required awaking first mate Lance Spears), Samantha begins to explain their mission.
Samantha discusses how a vanished sea station built for a theory of hers that the mythical city of Atlantis existed, was swallowed up by the sea. She then presents a triangular prism she claims is the map to Atlantis, but the Captain Ace Speedman refuses to help look, persisting that they are a salvage mission that just picks up as much treasure as they can. Before Samantha can convince him, however, the ship makes contact with a Monster Crab that sends their ship plummeting to the ocean floor. Upon discovering a sub from the lost sea station, the Captain goes on a scuba mission to deal with the crab. After locking the crab in a cage, the Captain discovers a crystal on the sea floor and retrieves it. After Lance's failure to fix the cable, the ship goes off a cliff.
The ship plumets into an underwater volcano, but makes its way through the deep, subterranean lava tunnels into a depth thought not to exist. Excitedly, Samantha says that once all the crystals were found, the location of Atlantis will be clear. Observing the damage made to their current sub, the team quickly builds a new sub, the Typhoon Turbo Sub and the Seabed Scavenger with which to find the crystals. The two newly built subs, the Captain's personal vehicle (the 8057 Wreck Raider, and Lance in the diving suit alongside move out, but not before a strange, green, octopus-like creature decides to follow.
The convoy of submarines go deep within the ocean, but Samantha stops them upon the discovery of the mysterious squid temple. The divers are soon met by many, red Squid warriors, and Fish suggests to let them know the divers mean no harm. To her horror, Samantha reads a sign on the temple warning those who enter, and so after taking a few photographs of the Squids, Fish swims away. After a brief respite, the crew is met by a Giant Squid. Thinking quickly, they are able to tangle the squid's tentacles in holes in the rock, and the second crystal is discovered. The subs soon see odd things moving in the sand, which Fish says are Manta Rays and completely harmless. However, as Manta Warriors begin to gather, Lance begins to think twice about this statement.
The Manta Warriors continue to surround the submarines, but they suddenly disperse. Lance credits this to his Kung Fu, but they soon discover it is because of a much bigger threat: an enormous black shark. After a few attempts to get rid of the shark fail, Lance finally defeats him by sending a dummy diver (which is a air tank with a helmet) to lure him away. When the shark eats the fake diver as is about to eat Lance when the creature burps and suddenly inflates with air. The shark begins to fart and then float away. The third crystal is found, but just as the Captain picks it up, a Manta Warrior erupts from the sand and takes it from him. The Captain goes after the Manta Warrior on his own in the Wreck Raider, but the rest of the crew finds him (with the crystal) using the tracking device that all vehicles have. Unfortunately, their happiness is ended apruptly when Shark Warriors start coming out of a large, stone shark-like entrance to a mysterious structure. The crew gets many tridents and wedge them in the throttle lever causing their vehicles to drive away, followed closely by the swarming Shark Warriors.
After hiding from the sharks in the sand, Samantha sees the last crystal, but is disappointed when there is no Atlantis. After some reassurance from the Captain, Samantha learns that crystals are the keys to Atlantis, and she inserts them in the correct places on the portal. After all the keys are placed, Fish discovers one is still missing, but that problem is solved when the triangle unfolds to reveal the final key. When this key is placed, the ocean begins to shake and rumble, and the stone shark statues on either side of the Portal become alive. A Portal forms between all the keys, and the crew decides to built a rocket out of the Wreck Raider using their oxygen tanks to get past the newly-created sharks. They rocket into the portal, and the large, beautiful, golden city of Atlantis awaits for them on the other side. In the following newspaper articles, it is seen that Fish discovers the fish he was looking for, Samantha Rhodes becomes part of the crew, and the salvage crew are heroes."

TRIVIA TIME
  • Atlantis is one of the four themes to be tied together in the LEGO Club Magazine, being tied to Alien Conquest, Pharaoh's Quest, and Dino
  • This is also one of the three themes to be based off of myths. The others are Pharaoh's Quest and Monster Fighters (if you haven't heard about Monster Fighters, that's because it's not out yet.).
  • The Atlantian Guardians appear to be half human half sea animal. But in Sam's slide show, the Atlantian people were normal minifigures.

Viva Pinata stuff (now I have the game!!!)

If you read my blog post that I posted a few days ago (about viva pinata), then this one will be better.

Jardinero

Now I have the game and I have some interesting things to tell. There are Helpers that do whatever you hire them to do. In fact, Professor Pester was once a Helper (when he was called Lester). Here's a list.
  • Sprinkling - they water plants for you.
  • Diggerling - they mine and bring back everything they find to you.
  • Weedling - they exterminate weeds for you.
  • Watchling -  they keep Sours away from your garden (DON'T hire them if you want to tame the Sours).
  • Gatherling - they pick up produce, fruits, veggies, and other things and sell them, then they give you the money they make.
Here's a list of ultra valuable Pinata and how to get them.
  • Chewnicorn - to make it appear, have the Master Romancer (Horstachio) award. To make it visit, have a Gem Tree in your garden. To make it reside in your garden, feed it 15 gems and have a FULLY grown gem tree. The best part about having a Chewnicorn Resident is it will heal sick Pinatas if you direct a Chewnicorn to the sick pinata.
  • Dragonache - Have Diggerlings mine for a Dragonache egg. It will instantly reside after hatching.
  • Eaglair - to make it appear, you must a level 33 gardener or better. To make it visit, have five different species resident. To make it reside in your garden, feed it four Buzzenges, have ten different species resident and have a FULLY grown oak tree.
  • Cocoadile - it will show up once you are a level 27 gardener. To tame it (Cocoadiles are Sours, by the way), have 16% (160 meters) of water and feed a Sweetooth and a Swanana. The best part about taming Cocoadiles is they fertilize your plants by using it's tears.

Here's a list of dudes that help your Pinata.
  • Willy Builder - He builds houses for Pinatas. Because your a newbie (a newbie is someone is new at things, like playing this game) at the time, he will do the first job for FREE!!! But after that, you have to pay him to build something.
  • Dr. Patchino - A very nervous doctor. He heals sick Pinatas. Like Willy Builder, he does the first job for FREE!!! Patch also rushes to the patient unlike everybody else. But he doesn't run. No, he DRIVES!!! He drives his 1980 style go cart to the patient. But he never parks outside your garden. He parks quite literally right in front of the patient.
  • Helpers - They......well... they help. I suggest getting Diggerlings and Gatherlings.

 TRIVIA TIME
  • Tafflies are lower in the food chain compared to Lickatoads, but they still show up even if there's a Lickatoad in your garden.
  • Leafos and Storkos look like they are twins. A line used by Leafos says they are sisters, but not twins.
  • Leafos, Storkos, Seedos, Jardinero and Dastardos never wear shoes. All of them are always barefoot. But everyone else in the game does where shoes.
  • When Pester was a Helper, according to Jardinero, he'd mess up most tasks and when Jardinero told him how to do it right, he only wrote down everything he told him.
  • Your garden in the game was once Jardinero's before he retired. Jardinero was the BEST gardener in the world. Even after he retired (because of a leg injury that made him wheel chair-bound) there was NO one as good as he was.
  • Every character in the game (excluding Pester, his Ruffians and Lottie) wears a uniquely designed mask.
