New Super Mario Bros. (WII and DS)
For fans of Mario, I present: New Super Mario Bros.!!!
This game is multi-player (up to four players at a time). In other words, it's 1-4 player (pl-1 plays as Mario, pl-2 plays as Luigi, pl-3 plays as a yellow Toad, and pl-4 plays as a blue Toad). Plus, You can ride Yoshis in this game (Green Yoshi for Mario, Blue Yoshi for Luigi, Yellow Yoshi for Yellow Toad, and Pink Yoshi for Blue Toad)!
Here's the story (WII only).
It is Princess Peach's birthday and as Mario, Luigi and their friends are celebrating, a huge cake slides in. Immediately, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings pop out and throw the giant cake on top of Peach, trapping her inside. From there, the villains load her onto their ship while Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad follow closely. The Toads from the castle soon use a cannon to blast away the Propeller and Penguin Suits towards Mario and the others so they can have access to them.[3]
When Mario and the gang finally get to the final castle, they find none other than Bowser himself. One of them has to jump on a ! Switch behind Bowser to defeat him, sending him falling into the lava below. After, Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad, and Blue Toad celebrate their victory, they see Peach crying in a cage. However, she turns out to be Kamek in Peach's dress. Kamek then powers Bowser up, making him huge. After Bowser has been powered up, the four can do nothing but flee from the giant boss. Soon they find a dead end with a huge ! Switch. They push it, and Giant Bowser falls through the floor in final defeat as Princess Peach is released from her cage. As they venture out, they see Luigi, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad arrive in their hot air balloons. Luigi lets Mario and Peach into his balloon and is accidentally left behind. The two Toads then offer Luigi a ride in their balloon. As they sail off, Peach asks Mario if she told him about the Secret World.
After the credits, Larry Koopa is seen limping toward Bowser's Castle. He meets Bowser Jr., who shows Larry the rest of the Koopalings trying to push Bowser, who is back to normal, right side up. They finally succeed, with a huge thud, causing the castle to fall on top of Bowser and his children [4]
Here's the story (DS only).
The end of the first world has Bowser as its boss, unusually. Even more surprising, after Mario presses a switch that destroys the floor and Bowser falls into the pit of lava, the king's flesh is burned off and he becomes a Dry Bones-like version of himself (known as Dry Bowser). Later, at World 8, Mario has to face this undead version of Bowser as the penultimate boss in the game. Dry Bowser falls into a pit, but Bowser Jr. somehow finds his father's bones, and he revives him by tossing his remains into a bubbling cauldron, which results in not only Bowser returning from the dead, but growing roughly three times his size.
At the end, Bowser and his son fight Mario together, but Mario defeats them, sending the two into yet another pit. After the ending sequence, Bowser Jr. is shown dragging his unconscious father across the castle floor. When he notices the player watching him, he shouts something and then continues on with his task.

Here's the story (DS only).
Mario (or Luigi depending on who the player is playing as) and Princess Peach are walking together around Peach's Castle, when a mysterious thundercloud appeared, and struck the castle with lightning. Mario/Luigi went to investigate, and while he is there, Bowser Jr. sneaks behind a bush and kidnaps Peach. Mario/Luigi follows, and Bowser Jr. drags her behind him through eight different worlds. The player must save Peach.

The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (TV show)
As you might know, there is a TV show based on Sonic (a.k.a. Sonic X). BUT.......... did you know is another Sonic TV show? It's called <pause for effect> The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (it is really funny)!
Here's a cast of characters (that I know of).
*Sonic the Hedgehog - you may already know who Sonic (most of my posts are about him and his video games). So... I'm not gonna put a description.
*Miles Prower (a.k.a. Tails) - Sonic's best friend, Sonic's sidekick and the youngest character (in the show he's only 4-and-a-half years old but everywhere else he is twice this age) in the Sonic series. He is a fox that can fly as fast as Sonic when he runs.
*Scratch - One of Eggman's robots and "older brother" of Grounder. He looks a little bit like a chicken (having chicken-like legs and a chicken-like head), and he has wings for arms (but I haven't seen him fly yet). But the ends of his wings have modeled to look like human hands (having palms and fingers).
*Grounder - One of Eggman's robots and "younger brother" of Scratch. Grounder has interchangeable hands, often turning his hands into tools or weapons. Also, unlike Scratch, he has tank treads for legs.
*Coconuts - Eggman's first working robot. After several years of failing to capture and/or kill Sonic, Coconuts got demoted to being a janitor. Ever since, Coconuts has been making secret team-ups with Scratch and Grounder to take out Sonic.
*Rocket the Sloth - A sloth wearing a blue sweater and a green cap. He is a friend of Sonic's and Tails'. His family live in a tree-house taking up room in multiple trees (each connected by zip-line). Although Rocket claims to be fast, he is really as slow as a normal sloth (moving and talking in complete slow motion).
*Boom Boom - a baby gorilla with the strength of 7,000,432,165,899 men. Despite being a baby, he is roughly the size of 3 men stacked on top of each other.
*Big Daddy - a purple gorilla that resembles King Kong. As his name suggests, he is a father. Boom Boom's dad to be exact.
* Turkey Farmer - I don't know what his name is, so I just call him Turkey Farmer (his species is a turkey and his career is being a farmer). In one episode, Turkey Farmer asked Sonic to free the land the old turkey owned from Eggman's heavily armed harvest machines (Eggman was going to build a robot factory on the farm).
*Edgar Eagle - a popular hero that has his own TV show. Scratch and Grounder are huge fans of him. In fact, when they aren't obeying orders from Eggman, they can be found in Eggman's living room watching the latest episode of Edgar Eagle's TV show.
*Dr. Eggman - the main villain of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. In this show, he is addressed by his real name (Ivo Robotnik), wears a yellow cape, and no longer does his trademark evil laugh (it goes like this: "<evilly> Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha <starts laughing like a maniac> hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo <coughs, then resumes laughing>
Here's everything that happens (dialogue, actions everything) in my favorite episode (sloooooowwwwwwwwww going).
Dr. Robotnik flies to the Sloth's home planning to use them as bait to lead Sonic into a trap. He damages their house with Scratch and Grounder. Rocket the Sloth sees Robotnik escape and sends a Morse code message to Sonic for help. Back at Robotnik's lair, the evil Doctor shows Scratch and Grounder his Subatomic Slow Go Beam Weapon which can shoot a slow motion beam that will put Sonic into sloth motion for one hour. Scratch zaps Dr. Robotnik with the ray so as to postpone his anger at them.
Sonic and Tails arrive at the Sloth home and repair the damage caused by Dr. Robotnik. Rocket sits in a tree with a gong, on the look out for danger. Scratch and Grounder come and begin firing slow rays. Sonic figures out what the ray does. Robotnik shows up and Scratch and Grounder accidentally zap him again. Robotnik leaves for an hour. Scratch and Grounder set a trap for Sonic, by having Scratch hide in a tree while Grounder hangs from a branch disguised as a distressed Sloth. Sonic stops to help the sloth, allowing Scratch time to zap him with the slow ray. Sonic slowly tells Tails to go warn the sloths. Scratch and Grounder capture Sonic and take him to a cave where they put him in a cage and call Robotnik to tell him their good news.
Back at the Sloth home, realizing Rocket can't help him, Tails goes to save Sonic himself.
Back in the cave as Scratch and Grounder taunt Sonic, Tails steals the slow ray and threatens to shoot Scratch and Grounder. Grounder knocks it out of his hands, breaking the crystal that it runs on. Tails takes the slow ray and retreats to the Sloth home.
Back at the Sloth home, Rocket uses the slow ray to make him and his family super fast. Tails and the four speedy sloths rush off to save Sonic. The Sloths roll into balls like Sonic, they bounce around and hit Scratch and Grounder. Tails zaps Sonic with the ray and he is back to his fast self. Sonic quickly takes care of Scratch and Grounder. Robotnik comes and Tails zaps him with the ray making his Egg-o-Matic go super fast. Speeding beyond control, Robotnik crashes into a mountian.

Sonic Sez
Tails complains to Sonic about the Sloths being so slow. Rocket points out that Tails is in quick sand. Tails panics. Rocket tells him to move slowly and he'll be able to get out okay. Sonic explains that everyone has something special to offer, even sloths.Monday, December 5, 2011
Sonic Generations, Super Mario 3D Land, Pokemon Series, and Spider Riders (TV show)
This blog post is gonna be one of a kind. Why? Because... it has info on the newest Sonic the Hedgehog video game!!! And for a bonus, info on the newest Mario video game!!! Oh wait there's more, info on the Pokemon series!!! And today only, info on a TV show called Spider Riders!!!
The newest Sonic game is called Sonic Generations, where Sonic travels back in time and teams up with himself in the past to defeat not one, but two Dr. Eggman(s), and their newest and most powerful servant yet, the Time Eater (Time Eater looks a little bit like a ghost but with mechanical parts)!!!
The newest Mario game is Super Mario 3D Land, where players will re-experience the original Mario games (Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3) in HD and 3D (and slightly behind the back view). And (like a lot of Mario games), Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach and (as usual) Mario has to kick Bowser's butt and rescue Peach.
Pokemon are creatures that resemble plants, animals, or objects from the real world (like how Chimchar resemble a ape, and Charazard greatly resemble a dragon.). Most have elemental abilities (like Magmorter being able to shoot fireballs out of it's hands, and how Froslass being able to encase targets in ice). The only kind of Pokemon that I know of can't use elemental attacks are the Fighting type Pokemon, which use kicks and punches to deal damage. Most Pokemon can evolve (taking on a different look and learning new abilities) like Bakugan, but unlike Bakugan, which keep evolving continuously, there is a limit to how many times Pokemon can evolve.
Now we're movin' on to Spider Riders. This kid named Hunter Steele travels to the center of the Earth where human warriors fight side by side by giant talking spiders (actually, there is little resemblance between real spiders and these spiders, for the spiders in the show share only two qualities: They both make webs (however, they shoot webs out of spikes on their heads) and they both have eight legs. Anyway, the heroes ride spiders and fight this evil mantis dude.

Here's the story for Sonic Generations.
"The story takes place some time after Sonic's last encounter with Eggman in Sonic Colors. In the past of Green Hill, Classic Sonic is exploring when he hears a noise. Suddenly, a monster known as the 'Time Eater' appears in the sky and he notices it as the screen goes white. In the present day, Tails and his friends are having a surprise party for Sonic's birthday until the Time Eater appears in Sonic's time and sucks all of them back into different periods in Sonic's history. Sonic goes to attack but is instead attacked himself; he looks up before he passes out to see that Tails is the only one left struggling to resist the Time Eater's vortex. Sonic wakes from his unconsciousness in a white world and wonders what's going on. Sonic first frees Tails when he was in a frozen state. Sonic and Tails first decide on finding their friends first, while Sonic wonders how Green Hill Zone looked so familiar. Tails tells Sonic to go check Chemical Plant out. Sonic quickly sets off, but a few seconds later, Tails sees Classic Sonic and mistakes him for Sonic.
After Sonic brought Chemical Plant back to its color, Tails reaches Sonic and explains how he will never forget the annoying pink acid the place is filled with. Sonic agrees and tells Tails that he feels that he is experiencing deja-vu. Meanwhile, Classic Sonic encounters Classic Metal Sonic guarding a Chaos Emerald, battles him at the bad future of Stardust Speedway, and destroys him. Later on, Modern Sonic is in a black and white hall with a glass with Classic Sonic at the other side of the glass. Modern Sonic mistakes it for a mirror, along with mistaking Classic Sonic as his reflection and vice versa. The two started setting their hair and looking at their teeth, concerned about their looks. When the two Sonics touch their bellies, Modern Sonic noticed how his reflection's belly is rounder, and gets the feeling that the reflection is not him. The two then hear Dr. Eggman's voice, with Modern Sonic shouting his name; Classic Sonic looks at his Modern self through the glass and realizes that it was not his reflection the whole time. Classic Sonic runs towards Eggman's voice while Modern Sonic tries to catch up, but instead has the door close on him, resulting in being locked in the room. Sonic was surprised to see his "reflection" running and he wasn't, and realized that his "reflection" was actually another "Sonic".
After Classic Sonic destroys the Death Egg Robot, he sees the same monster that appeared at the beginning of the game kidnapping Classic Dr. Eggman, with Classic Dr. Eggman crying out Sonic's name. Modern Sonic then sees his Classic self to find there's two of him and asks why are there two Sonics. Modern and Classic Tails tell Sonic that they are traveling through time and space, which is why Sonic is experiencing all of his past encounters along with seeing Classic Sonic. The two Sonics quickly get along and run towards the other places to bring them back to its color. The two realize that the faster they go through the areas, the more time and color will be restored.
After restoring every friend and only one more place to bring back to its colors, the two Tails' find out that the Time Eater dislikes Chaos Emeralds and tell the two Sonics to collect the seven Emeralds. The two Sonics restore Planet Wisp and race each other to the Emerald. Modern Sonic beats Classic Sonic in the race because he's had more experience (using the Sonic Boost in the air). After beating the Egg Dragoon, Sonic gets confused to see Eggman inside of it, as he thought that Eggman got kidnapped. However, strangely, the monster comes again and kidnaps Eggman once again, leaving the gang confused.
The gang then chases after the Time Eater and find it to be a supernatural being converted to a machine being piloted by Modern and Classic Dr. Eggman. When asked, Modern Eggman explains that when he was in trapped in space with Orbot and Cubot at the end of Sonic Colors, he found a monster with a unique ability to erase time and space. His plan was to undo all of his past mistakes whilst kidnapping Sonic's friends to use as bait to get Sonic to chase after him. However, he had the help of Classic Eggman in order for all of it to work. The monster tries destroying the two Sonics; though they put up a decent fight, it quickly managed to throw them off the ground and crush them with its arm. With the two Sonics weak and passed out, they get support from all of their friends along with Shadow and Silver, allowing the Chaos Emeralds to glow and activate, transforming them into Super Sonic. The two defeat the Eggmans, their monster, and their plan, and return back to where Sonic had his birthday party.
At the party, Modern Sonic got to enjoy the rest of his chili dog as Classic Sonic and the rest of the gang reappeared, including Shadow and Silver. After a few conversations between the two Sonics and two Tails, Classic Sonic tries out one of Modern Sonic's newer abilities (one which was a little bit of the Sonic Boost) but slightly fails to keep up. Modern Sonic claps for Classic Sonic, saying that he will get better. Modern Sonic and Tails share a few high-fives and wave good-bye as Classic Sonic and Tails jump back to their time-line.
A post-credits scene shows the two doctors lost in a blank and timeless existence. The two argue as they search for an exit, discussing whether or not they have ever defeated Sonic and contemplating if they should go back and get their teaching degree, as opposed to continuing their misdeeds."
Here's the story for Super Mario 3D Land.
Later on, Mario and three Toads (Red, Yellow, and Blue) go looking for the princess. Eventually, they discover that she is missing and the Super Leaves are gone too. Yellow Toad notices a hovering letter near the tree, and the group of four goes to investigate. Mario grabs and opens the letter, and a picture of Bowser holding Princess Peach with Super Leaves flying in the background pops out. The message shocks the three Toads and Mario, and immediately, Mario and the three Toads run to save Princess Peach.[video 2] Throughout his adventure, Mario receives more letters about Peach's predicament and how Bowser conspired this plot utilizing the Super Leaves he took from the Tail Tree.
Peach ultimately attempts to escape from Bowser and his army, but she is soon recaptured. Mario travels through 8 worlds and defeats Bowser, only to be tricked as Bowser escapes with Peach. Mario eventually finds Bowser's lair, but before they can battle, the floor beneath them breaks and they fall. After being chased through various obstacles, Mario manages to press a switch making the bridge under Bowser collapse, sending Bowser into a pool of lava. At last, Mario and the three Toads find Princess Peach and, using their Tanooki powers, bring Peach back to her castle.
After that, a short cutscene appears with a letter floating down in World 1-1. It appears to be Luigi being kidnapped by Dry Bowser . Mario then sets off to save Luigi. After rescuing him in Special World 1-Castle, he becomes a playable character.
After the player beats Special 8-Castle, another cutscene appears. Another letter has floated down on World 1-1, and the three Toads went to investigate it. To their surprise, Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach again. Then, Mario or Luigi must play World 8-2 again to defeat Bowser. After that, a letter of Peach wearing a Tanooki Suit is unlocked."
NOTE: Pictures and every thing in " is from Sonic News Network and Super Mario Wiki.

"Outside of Princess Peach's Castle stands the Tail Tree, a Tanooki-tailed tree with Super Leaves on its branches. All of the Mushroom Kingdom is familiar with the tree. One night, a huge storm blows all of the leaves off, as Bowser laughs in the background. The next morning, Princess Peach goes outside to see if the tree is okay, but during her inspection, Bowser once again kidnaps her.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby Mass Attack!, and Kirby: Right Back at Ya!
This blog post has info on not one, not two, but three Kirby video games (and info on the anime, "Kirby: Right Back at Ya!")!!!
As you might know, Kirby is pink fluffy thing that can swallow things whole. What you might not know, King Dedede, who is a big jerk that hates Kirby, HELPS Kirby in Kirby's return to Dream Land. Plus, in this game he is..........<dramatically> playable. Another thing you should know, in Kirby: Right back at Ya!, Meta Knight, who follows a code of honer to the point where you would expect him not to watch TV or use modern day technology, was seen watching <dramatically> TV. Also, Meta Knight's face looks <dramatically> almost identical to Kirby's face (only differences are eyes are yellow and skin is blue).
Here's the story for Kirby's Epic Yarn.
"Yin-Yarn the sorcerer runs amok in Dream Land, turning everything, citizens included, into yarn. Meanwhile, Kirby walks by a bush and notices a tomato with an M on top of it. Thinking it to be a Maxim Tomato, he starts to inhale to eat it just as Yin-Yarn appears and starts to introduce himself. Yin-Yarn gets angry at Kirby eating the tomato, and sucks him into a sock tied with a string around his neck.
Kirby finds himself in a strange land, where everything is made of yarn - and due to the sorcerer's magic, himself as well. Just then, he saw a yarn monster chasing a yarn boy. Kirby tries to inhale the monster, but the air goes right through his body. Unsure of what to do, but still wanting to help, Kirby transforms into a car and drives off with the yarn boy. It turns out that Yin-Yarn's tomato was a Metamato, and from eating it, Kirby can now transform into different things at will. The boy introduces himself as Prince Fluff, and offers Kirby to go over to Patch Castle, which teaches Kirby the basics of Patch Land.
Right after that, a monster appears and tries to eat Prince Fluff. Kirby defeats the monster by using his weight form and obtains a piece of yarn that stitches Quilty Square to Grass Land. As a dismayed Prince Fluff explains, Yin-Yarn split Patch Land into seven parts, and he still has five missing pieces to find. Being his helpful self, Kirby promises his help to make Patch Land a peaceful place once again, and the two set off on their adventure. After defeating Fangora in Grass Land, a magic yarn stitches Grass Land to Hot Land.
Interlude: Eventually Kirby's stomach starts growling, so he searches for food in a tree, but cannot seem to find any. Suddenly, the tree starts to shake, and Kirby tries to hang on for as long as he can. It's actually Prince Fluff shaking the tree and he says this is the way to get food in Patch Land, and proceeds to shake several apples and Kirby out of the tree. Kirby gets mad and chases Prince Fluff for so long that he forgot he was hungry.
After defeating Hot Wings in Hot Land, Kirby and Prince Fluff find the magic yarn that stitches Hot Land and Treat Land together.
Meanwhile, back in Dream Land, a group of Waddle Dees are working for King Dedede inside the castle. King Dedede notices that one of the Waddle Dees, being made out of yarn, "looks a little strange", but he ignores this. Yin-Yarn, hiding behind some boxes, continues to sew more yarn Waddle Dees with his needles. Yin-Yarn cackles, saying that Dream Land will be his soon enough, although he confesses that he is not sure what to do with it.
After defeating Squashini, Kirby and Fluff find the magic yarn that stitches Treat Land to Water Land.
Interlude: Along their journey, they come upon a breathtaking, mountain-sized cake! Kirby tries to contain himself, but jumps into the cake nonetheless. Prince Fluff declares a cake-eating contest and starts eating as well. However, they don't balance their eating, and the cake collapses with them inside. Prince Fluff pops out and says he can't eat anymore. Kirby pops out with a gigantic cherry in his mouth and eats it, winning the contest.
After they defeat Capamari, the magic yarn stitches Water Land to Snow Land.
Back in Dream Land, Yin-Yarn's Waddle Dee impostors capture the real Waddle Dees and corner Dedede. Before he can defend himself, they attack and tie him up. Yin-Yarn comes out and uses his sock to suck Dedede away into Patch Land and transform him into yarn. While he wanders Snow Land, he sees Kirby and starts to run over, but a puppeteer's device comes in from out of nowhere and knocks him unconscious, then takes control of his body. When he is defeated by Kirby, he returns to normal and the magic yarn from the puppeteer's device is relinquished, and stitches Snow Land to Space Land.
Once again, back in Dream Land, while roaming the skies on Battleship Halberd, Meta Knight notices some changes in Dream Land's landscape. Suddenly, Yin-Yarn crashes onto the deck and sucks him into Patch Land. When Kirby and Prince Fluff find him guarding Space Land's magic yarn, his eyes flash between yellow and purple, as he is under Yin-Yarn's possession. Once Kirby defeats him, he is freed, and promptly disappears into his cape, while Kirby and Fluff get the last piece of magic yarn, which stitches Patch Land fully back together. They head back to Patch Castle to celebrate, but are interrupted when an unconscious Meta Knight wakes up. He apologizes for attacking them and blames the yarn, and explains what is happening in Dream Land. Kirby is upset that Yin-Yarn is taking over, but Prince Fluff pulls out another magical sock. It turns out that Yin-Yarn had only stolen one of the pair, and now that Patch Land is restored, the sock should regain its normal magic.
Kirby, Prince Fluff, Meta Knight, and King Dedede use the sock to transport to Yin-Yarn and confront him; upon their arrival at Dream Land, they find that Yin-Yarn has discarded his sock and Dream Land is covered with yarn and fabric, with Castle Dedede now floating ominously overhead. Kirby and Prince Fluff eventually track down Yin-Yarn and defeat him; however, his knitting needles come to life and use the magic yarn to give a new spin on him as Mega Yin-Yarn. Thinking fast, Meta Knight flies over and drops a Tankbot metamortex, and Kirby powers up and decimates Mega Yin-Yarn. His knitting needles are banished to the far reaches of Patch Land, and the yarn spell soon wears off, with Kirby and Dream Land returning to normal. Prince Fluff says farewell to Kirby and leaves that magical sock for Kirby to come visit whenever he wants. After the credits roll, Kirby is shown sleeping in a field with the sock in his hands, dreaming of his new friends in Patch Land."
Here's the story for Kirby Mass Attack!.
"Kirby starts out at Green Grounds, where Daroach approaches him in an airship and offers his help. He asks Kirby to collect Medals, which he claims to have a magical power to dispel the magical darkness surrounding Necrodeus' stronghold, which makes it impossible to approach.
And so, Kirby journeys throughout Pop Star, into Sandy Canyon, Dedede Resort, and then into Volcano Valley, where he finally gets enough of those Medals, which fires a great beam of light to dispel the darkness around Necrodeus' stronghold and opens up the fifth and final world, Necro Nebula.
The Kirbys finally defeated Necrodeus -- thanks to the heroic heart that had guided them every step of the way! Necrodeus faded into oblivion, leaving his staff floating in space. The heroic heart called out to the Kirbys...
"Now! Everyone, grab the staff! Use its magic!"
The Kirbys... became one whole Kirby again! A Warp Star soared into view and picked up Kirby! As Kirby flew home, he looked out across the cosmos. The stars were so beautiful. Darkness had its place just as much as light, he thought. For the stars sparkled twice as bright in the dark depths of space!
As Kirby soared onward, he saw Pop star in all its glory! Pop star had never looked so wonderful. It shone like a brilliant beacon of hope. Kirby left the darkness of space behind, glad to be home at long last."
Here's the story for Kirby's return to Dream Land.
"The game's trailer at E3 2011 reveals part of the introduction, and the rest are revealed at Comic Con. King Dedede and Waddle Dee are chasing Kirby, who is holding a large piece of cake resembling his Strawberry Shortcake from Kirby: Squeak Squad. They run past Meta Knight, who is lounging and reading a book under the sun by a large piece of rock on a grassy knoll. Suddenly, the sky flashes brightly and a five-pointed star-shaped portal reminiscent of Dark Nebula opens in the sky, and a crystalline, galleon-shaped, futuristic airship with an unfamiliar insignia pops out, trailing smoke and spilling pieces of gears everywhere. Moments after, the ship falls apart - first two banks of oars, then wings at its aft, then its engines and a piece of its bow, and finally its top mast. What's left of the hull crashes nearby, and the four heroes run off to investigate (Kirby abandons his dropped cake).
They reach the crash site and find the ship's hull mostly intact. Then its door opens. Kirby peers intently inside.
The heroes wander into the ship's shiny interior and find themselves right inside the ship's cockpit, but it's in shambles after the crash. A lone alien lies on its side, unconscious in front of a large screen flashing a warning sign.
The alien wakes up and immediately runs to the control panel, and a look of despair comes over him. The screen shows all 120 pieces of gears missing, and all five parts of the ship's hull had been scattered to the five corners of Pop Star.
Kirby offers to help, and the rest join in. The four heroes run off the ship while the alien stays behind on the ship to do repairs. What caused the ship to crash in the first place?
The alien is later introduced as Magolor, and his ship is the Lor Starcutter.[5]
Leading up to the game title screen, a short cutscene plays that isn't exactly relevant to the story. After the HAL Laboratory sign shows, Kirby zooms by on his Warp Star. He passes King Dedede flying through the air, then flies into him. Dedede ends up on the Warp Star and gives Kirby a slightly annoyed look. As the two soar through the sky, Waddle Dee comes flying through the air as if shot out of a cannon, landing on the Warp Star as well. As the three nod at each other, Meta Knight flies by. Kirby, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee wave at Meta Knight, who soon joins them. Now together, the four give a silent "Yeah!" and the fly into the distance."
