AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON!!!

This post is about a movie (not a video game, and I know I preview/review video games a lot on this blog) that I am already... ready to watch. Avengers: Age of Ultron!!!

In case you don't know who the Avengers are (and I doubt it, their the most legendary thing from comic books!), Basically they are a team of superheroes (in fact their one of my favorite superheroes). The Avengers normally consist of Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Thor. Even though there are lots of comic books that have other members joining them.

In case you somehow don't know who any of these super heroes are you can find info on all of them at the Marvel wiki. Or Wikipedia. Or you can just watch the first Avengers movie (simply titled "The Avengers"). Or you can keep reading this blog post. Preferably that last option!

I won't go too far into details on the heroes themselves just to save time. What you read here is all you need to know about the Avengers.

IRON MAN!!!



Iron Man (civilian name: Tony Stark) is a multi-billionaire mixed with a superhero. He is one of my personal favorites. Anyway, Iron Man does not have superpowers directly but his armor (pictured above) enables him to fight things with actual superpowers. Tony Stark survived a plane crash once upon a time and a piece of shrapnel got lodged in his heart. A device he built called the Arc Reactor is the only thing keeping him alive.

By the way in this movie Iron Man gets a new armor. And it is the glorious fighting machine below.

THE HULK!!!



The Hulk is a beast. No questions asked. But I am going to have to go into his origin story because you have to know everything. The Hulk (civilian name: Bruce Banner) was a scientist working on gamma radiation. Why? They changed the reason like 50 trillion times. First it was to recreate the stuff that made Captain America (more on that later), then it was to use gamma rays to cure diseases, the they changed it again...and again...and again. They seriously cannot leave this guy's origin story alone. In EVERY version however, something goes wrong and Bruce turned into the big green dude pictured above. Transformation is only temporary. He switches back after a while.

THOR!!!



Thor is based off the Norse deity of the same name. It's that simple. He has a magic hammer that shoots lightning. But on to the origin story! Thor is from another world called Asgard (also from Norse mythology) but was banished to Earth because his father deemed Thor too arrogant. His half-brother Loki was the villain of the first movie (and yes, Loki is based off yet another Norse deity of the same name).

CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!



Captain America (civilian name: Steve Rogers) is Stan Lee's original masterpiece. Captain America is a super-soldier during World War 2. His reflexes were enhanced by a mysterious formula. One of the 50 trillion Hulk origin story variants is that Bruce Banner was attempting to recreate Captain America using gamma radiation as a substitute. But back to Captain America! He is much older than he looks. Doubly so because he fought in World War 2.

HAWKEYE!!!



Hawkeye (civilian name: Flint Barton) is an archer with 50 trillion different arrows (Arrows that explode! Arrows that hack computers! Arrows that melt things! Arrows that zap things!). He used to be a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division), which are basically secret agents. I cannot say anymore because according to the actor playing Hawkeye the movie will explore the detailed parts of his origins.

BLACK WIDOW!!! 



Just like with Hawkeye I will not go too deep into Black Widow's (civilian name: Natalia Romanova). The only part of her origins that I am allowed to put on this blog is that she is a trained assassin.

And that's it I believe (if I missed any members of the Avengers then yell at me in the comments. TYPE IN ALL CAPS!!! ).

But back to the actual movie. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Avengers are back and they have to deal with Ultron. In case you don't know, Ultron is a A.I. robot that is pure evil. Ultron happens to be one of my favorite super-villains (others include Venom from Spider-Man, the Joker from Batman, and Mewtwo from Pokemon).

Also Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are in the movie and they apparently join the Avengers. P.S. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are twin siblings with telekinesis and super speed respectively.
